Approaching the Natural: A Health Manifesto
    By Sid Garza-Hillman
TWITTER CO-FOUNDER BIZ STONE writes in the forward of Approaching the Natural, “A healthy approach to living should be effortless and enjoyable.” These terms also accurately describe a read of this fresh and fun little health manifesto by Sid Garza-Hillman.

The heretofore unknown author is a throwback to a different era. He’s studied philosophy and nutrition, been a working actor, and has his own band. In Approaching, Garza-Hillman offers a new voice on health, combining elements of well-known names (Brazier, Freston, Fuhrman) into a unique style. His philosophy degree rears its head often, with nuggets of wisdom on nearly every page. The message of Approaching is decidedly simple: try to get back to as natural a way of living as possible.

The author does all of this with a down-to-earth, everyman writing style and jokes so bad you can’t help but laugh (he calls himself a “philosopher-nutritionist,” which is “kind of like a philosopher-king, but I drive a Ford Focus”). This is a layman’s handbook, one we all wish we had written. You will find yourself agreeing with Garza-Hillman’s common-sense conclusions and implementing them into your own regimen.
